CONCEPT
Rochelle reached out to me about her husband’s father who had passed away when Brad (her husband) was still very young. She shared one of his homework assignments that really captured the love he had for his father. The story that he wrote about his father in his homework assignment really touched me and reminded me of all the small moments I shared with my own dad.
I drew up an illustration and tried to capture that special moment when Brad and his father went to go watch the film, Field of Dreams. Rochelle shared some more fun family moments with me and I knew I had to storyboard it. I hope I was able to bring back the joy from some of these precious moments.
